What is Parent Council?
Parent Council is a group of parent advocates of MSDWT students (K-12) who represent a diverse community in Indianapolis and believe that quality public education is an investment in the future. Members meet monthly to actively influence the direction of the District and support positive learning experiences. At most meetings, a School Board member and a MSDWT Administration member (usually the Superintendent) provide an update on important happenings in the District.
Who can join?
ALL parents of MSDWT students (K-12) are welcome. We need parents to represent every school in the district. This is a perfect volunteer opportunity for working parents who are unavailable during the school day or for those who want a smaller monthly time commitment.
